
The Texas Comptroller’s Office released the December sales tax allocations this week. The sales tax allocation for the City of Brownwood was essentially even with December 2023, while the allocations for Early and Bangs were lower than last year. BROWNWOOD
The City of Brownwood received $563,189, essentially even with the December 2023 allocation of $563,095. Fiscal year-to-date (October through December 2024) the City of Brownwood has received $1,755,489, down 0.56% from the previous fiscal year-to-date.
The Brownwood Municipal Development District received $187,461, again essentially even with the December 2023 allocation of $187,997. Fiscal year-to-date the Brownwood MDD has received $570,930, down 0.54% from the previous fiscal year-to-date.
EARLY
The City of Early received $209,173, down 5.62% compared to December 2023. Fiscal year-to-date the City of Early has received $559,361, down 12.24% compared to the previous fiscal year-to-date.
The Early Municipal Development District received $69,055, down 5.33% compared to December 2023. Fiscal year-to-date the Early MDD has received $183,278, down 11.94% vs. the previous fiscal year-to-date.
BANGS
The City of Bangs received $19,753, down 14.02% compared to December 2023. Fiscal year-to-date the City of Bangs has received $76,168, up 15.77% vs. the previous fiscal year-to-date.
The Bangs Municipal Development District received $3,095, down 7.64% compared to December 2023. Fiscal year-to-date the Bangs MDD has received $9,724, up 4.50% vs. the previous fiscal year-to-date.
