
EARLY – The Early Lady Horns suffered their first basketball loss of the season Saturday, unable to rally from a 14-point halftime deficit in a 43-41 home setback against Miles.
The Lady Horns (2-1) led 8-6 after one quarter, trailed 26-12 at halftime and faced a 36-24 deficit heading into the fourth period, were they scored 17 points.
Jamie Vassar again led the Lady Horns with 21 points trailed by Jenna Hataway with 9, Lindsey Bastardo, Gabby Benson, and Pearl Sharp with 3 each, and Dakota Barksdale with 2 points.
Early is back in action at 6 p.m. Tuesday at May.
