The Brownwood Police Department issued the following press release Monday:
On Thursday, December 8, 2022, at approximately 6:40 p.m. officers with the Brownwood Police Department contacted a male victim who wished to file a report for harassment.
The victim stated that he is family friends with a female who is separated from her husband. The husband has learned of the victim aiding the female, so he has begun phoning the victim, driving by the victim’s residence at odd hours and creating a noise to harass the victim as well as causing damage to his residence and vehicles. The victim believes his entire family is in danger due to the repeated, harassing, and destructive behavior. The victim has recently grown concerned for his brother and brother’s family as well, since the suspect has now began calling and harassing him.
A communications check revealed several reports where the husband, 35-year-old Justin Bradley Waddle, is listed as a suspect in reports of criminal mischief, assault, and harassment. Given the totality of the information provided, a warrant was sought and obtained out of 35th District Court for Stalking.
On Sunday, December 11, 2022, Waddle met with officers at the Brownwood Law Enforcement Center and was arrested for the warrant.
