The Texas Department of Transportation’s contractor will begin thermoplastic striping in the city of Brownwood on Monday, June 28, 2021.

Work will begin Monday morning and will last approximately 2 days. The limits of the project will be the entirety of FM 2524 (Austin Avenue) and continuing on SH 279 (Belle Plain) to the entrance of Rocky Creek Baptist Church.

Motorists should expect various lane closures and plan for possible delays in travel.  Please use caution when driving near the work convoy.
